BRASCO'S BARBERSHOP | Casuarina
The footprint at Brasco's is tight yet demanded a counter, three cutting stations, a wash basin, ample seating for waiting customers and plenty of storage. Each design decision was intentional, minimal and functional.
Reclaimed, Repurposed, Recycled..
A damaged hardwood pool table spans the length of the shop, repurposed to serve as the Barbers' triple workstation.
The matching cue rack and scoreboard became retail space.
Each station is framed by colonial posts salvaged from a nearby house demolition.
The prohibition era theme was cemented when we found a teak & marble cocktail bar at a local flea market. It's compact footprint became the perfect countertop.
Two rows of vintage cinema seats line the opposite wall for waiting customers.
