Lennox Mediterranean | Lennox Head

On the coastal dream strip of Lennox Head we crafted a total home renovation for artist and filmmaker Angus Mcdonald

Much inspiration for the home was drawn from time spent in the mediterranean. White washed walls and natural renders blend seamlessly with reclaimed Australian hardwood timber features.

Angus is a 6x Archibald prize finalist, including the 2020 People’s Choice Award winner. He often works from home so it was important to preserve space for his practice in the design.
With renovations you are working with the bones of an existing building, so within those parameters special consideration was made to natural light and areas which could be lived and worked in comfortably.
